This water filter cartridge reduces lead, chlorine, asbestos, cysts, turbidity, particulates, and some herbicides and pesticides, without removing fluoride. It improves the taste and odour of your water and ice.

The Samsung Ice and Water Filtration System is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53.

This Samsung Refrigerator Water Filter is used in Side-by-Side and French Door refrigerators with filter access inside the fresh food compartment. Simply unscrew the old filter, remove and replace with the new filter. No tools required!

How To Replace The Samsung DA29-00020B Water Filter:

1. Turn off the water filter supply.
2. Dispense some water to reduce the water pressure. Water may spill when removing the old cartridge, so have a towel or bowl nearby.
3. Slowly turn the old filter counterclockwise 1/4 turn and remove.
4. Remove the protection cap from new filter, making sure the o-rings are still in place.
5. Insert the new filter with the lock system pointing to the left.
6. Turn the new filter clockwise 1/4 turn. You'll feel the cartridge stop and the lock symbol should line up with the locked indicator line.
7. Turn the water supply back on.
8. If your refrigerator has a 'Water Filter Indicator' light, reset it.

How To Reset The 'Water Filter Indicator' Light:

1. Press and hold the 'Ice Type' button for 3 seconds. The light should then turn green.
   OR
2. Press and hold the 'Ice Type' and 'Child Lock' buttons at the same time for 3 seconds. The light should then turn green.

For best performance and to ensure clean and safe drinking water, it is highly recommended to change your filter every 6 months.
