How to find your fridge filter
Look for the model number on the label of your current filter, or check your refrigerator's owner's manual. Search the full number, including any letters at the end. One filter often has several numbers: for example, our Whirlpool EveryDrop #4 listing is also titled UKF8001P and 4396395P.

How often to replace
As a general guideline, replace your fridge water filter about every 6 months, or sooner if flow slows, the water tastes off or the filter light comes on. After installing, run and discard some water as the instructions describe.
