COVID-19 Effect On Our Business (We're Still Operating But Expect Delays)

Nadir Chaudhry 4/4/20

hope you are well and keeping safe.

I just wanted to take this time to give you a quick update on what's going on over on our end.

Firstly, PureFilters is still operational.

We have sent most of our warehouse workers home. In fact, it's just the owners of the business (Jay and myself, seen below) that are still at the warehouse. We are working hard to send out orders as fast as we can.

Here is what to expect in the coming few weeks:

We understand the importance of indoor air and water quality as many Canadians consider filters an "essential home product" (and we agree).

Jay and I are committed to getting Canadians the filters they need for their homes, but please understand that at the moment - it's just us. We are a small business with very limited resources.

So please expect delays.

On top of us being short-staffed, Canada Post just announced their shipping delays:

As a result of all this, please allow several weeks for your order to arrive at your door.

We are attempting to re-stock inventory weekly by making special orders from the United States as our Canadian manufacturing facilities are also severely short-staffed.

However, we are not sure how long it will take to go through as all supply chains are experiencing significant delays.

If you need to replace your filters this year and see your product is in stock, please order now.

Also - please do not panic-buy or hoard supplies, as there are many people that need filters, and be mindful of your neighbours.

I thank you for being a PureFilters customer and supporting a local Canadian business, my team and I really appreciate it. I will keep you posted as the situation develops.

Please stay safe and take care.

Sincerely,

Nadir
