Frigidaire Electrolux Genuine OEM EWF01 PureAdvantage Refrigerator Ice & Water Filter. Frigidaire EWF01 refrigerator filter is also referred to as FC300.

This water filter cartridge reduces lead, chlorine, cysts, mercury, turbidity, particulates, and some herbicides and pesticides, without removing fluoride. It improves the taste and odour of your water and ice. The Electrolux Frigidaire PureAdvantage Ice and Water Filtration System is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53.
The Electrolux Frigidaire PureAdvantage Refrigerator Filter EWF01 replaces filters found in side-by-side and french door refrigerators except for Electrolux ICON models. If you have an ICON side-by-side refrigerator, you require the EWF2CBPA water filter. The Electrolux PureAdvantage EWF01 features a silver coloured face trim. Refrigerators using the EWF01 water filter also use the EAFCBF Refrigerator Air Filter.

How To Replace The Frigidaire Electrolux PureAdvantage EWF01 Water Filter:
- Turn off the ice maker using the power switch.
- Press the button just below the filter to release it.
- Slide the used filter straight out. (The water shuts off automatically so you don’t have to worry about flooding your refrigerator).
- Push the new filter straight in until it 'clicks'.
- Turn the ice maker back on.
- If your refrigerator has a 'Change Filter' light, reset it.
How To Reset The 'Change Filter' Light:
- Press and hold the 'Filter Status' button on the dispenser until the display changes from 'Replace' to 'Good' (for about 3 seconds).
For best performance and to ensure clean and safe drinking water, it is highly recommended to change your filter every 6 months.
