Find your part number
Most listings here carry the appliance maker's part number, such as W10113040A for a Whirlpool microwave grease filter, WW02L00754 for a GE dryer lint filter or ADQ74233201 for an LG lint filter assembly. The number is usually printed on the old filter or listed in your owner's manual. Many range hood and microwave filter titles also give the size in inches, so measure your old filter to double-check.
Grease or charcoal?
Aluminum grease filters trap cooking grease and can usually be washed and reused. Charcoal odour filters are used where a hood or over-the-range microwave recirculates air instead of venting it outside, and they are replaced rather than washed. Some hoods use both, like the Broan Nutone grease filter with charcoal odour insert.
Dryer lint filters and covers
Clean the dryer lint filter after every load. Replace the screen if the mesh is torn or the frame is cracked, and match housing covers and assemblies by part number, as they are specific to each dryer model.
