Central Split Accessories
Accessories for ducted central split heat pumps and furnaces: electric heat kits from 5 to 20 kW, No-Vac R454B pre-charged line sets in 15, 25, 35 and 50 foot lengths, a down flow kit for 3 to 5 ton air handlers, and liquid propane conversion kits for Signature Series equipment. Electric heat kits
A heat kit adds electric resistance heat inside the air handler, for backup heat in very cold weather or during defrost. Kits are made for specific series, so order the one listed for your equipment:
- Universal Series: MHK05U, MHK10U, MHK15U, MHK20U
- Versa Pro 3rd Generation: MHK10PB, MHK15PB, MHK20PB
- Central Ducted: CENTRALHK05, CENTRALHK08, CENTRALHK15, CENTRALHK20
- Signature MMBV modular blowers: 5 kW kit with breaker
Higher kW kits draw more current and need a correctly sized circuit and breaker, so a licensed electrician should confirm the wiring.
No-Vac line sets
The NV15 to NV50 sets are 3/8 x 3/4 inch and pre-charged for R454B equipment. Pick the length that reaches between the condenser and air handler.
Conversion and down flow kits
Liquid propane kits convert Signature Series gas furnaces and package units from natural gas, including a high altitude version. Gas conversions must be done by a licensed gas technician. The down flow kit lets a 3 to 5 ton Signature air handler be installed in the down flow position.
