Finding the right part
Parts are sold by part number, such as the D1-0443 or R8-0443 ionizing wire or the D1-0400 collecting cell for 16x25 D-Series units. Check the label on your air cleaner for the model and cell size (16 or 20 inch). Ionizing wires are listed by length, from 12-1/4 to 17-3/8 inches.
Upgrade and conversion kits
EACK electronic air cleaner upgrade kits come in 16x20, 16x25, 20x20 and 20x25. KIT-M and KIT-G door kits convert an electronic air cleaner to hold media filters. The R1-1000-4 and R8-1000-4 maintenance kits are for 16 and 20 inch electronic air cleaners.
Safety
Electronic air cleaners run on high voltage. Turn off power before opening the cabinet, and have a qualified technician replace power supply boards, transformers and motors.
