Which type fits?

- Slider casement: for windows that slide sideways or crank open.
- Built-in: installs through an exterior wall; some 8,000 BTU models add supplemental heat.
- Portable: rolls between rooms and vents through a window kit, including heat/cool and dehumidifier-mode models.

Voltage
Almost every Frigidaire unit here runs on 115V and plugs into a standard outlet. The 25,000 BTU window unit is 230V and needs a matching 230V receptacle on a suitable circuit, installed by a licensed electrician if you do not have one.
