HRV or ERV?
Both bring in fresh outdoor air and exhaust stale indoor air while recovering heat. An HRV recovers heat only; an ERV also transfers some moisture between the air streams. Damper defrost (TPD) models are designed to manage frost in cold weather.

Sizing and installation
The airflow you need depends on your home's size, number of bedrooms and local building code. Have a licensed HVAC technician size the unit and install it, including ductwork, condensate drain, wiring and airflow balancing, and follow Lennox's instructions.
