How to find your LG filter model
Check the label on your current filter or your fridge's manual. LG filters usually carry an LT number (such as LT700P) and may also carry a longer part number starting with ADQ or 5231JA. Search whichever number you have and match it in full, including suffixes like -S.

How often to replace your LG fridge water filter
As a general guideline, replace a refrigerator water filter about every 6 months, or sooner if water flow slows, ice or water starts to taste off, or your fridge's filter light comes on. After installing the new filter, run and discard some water as the instructions describe, then reset the filter indicator.
