Raypak heater parts guide: model, gas type and ignition ▾
Find your model, gas type and ignition
Read the model number on the heater's rating plate (such as 206A or 336A) and note whether it runs on natural gas or propane. Also check the ignition type: millivolt (standing pilot) and electronic IID heaters use different valves and pilots, for example the 1/2" millivolt and 3/4" IID natural gas valves listed here.

- Ignition and gas: standing pilot with generator, thermocouple pilot generator (206A, 266A), pilots and pilot tubes for 53A/055A, gas valves.
- Controls: mechanical thermostat, 3-wire PC board for 206A-408, temperature sensor, transformer for 185A-405A.
- Water side: Unitherm governors, by-pass kits, pressure switches, flanges, CPVC connectors and O-rings.
- Heat exchanger: copper tube bundles for Low NOx 206A/207A, 266A/267A and 336A/337A.
Installation and safety
Gas valves, pilots and burner parts should be installed by a licensed gas technician. Shut off the gas and power before any service and follow Raypak's instructions.
