Dyson upright hoses by model
Dyson uprights use different hoses by model, and some models have a separate lower duct hose. Replacement hoses are listed for:

Electric or plain hose
An electric hose carries power to a powered nozzle, so it has wiring and electrical contacts at the ends; a plain hose is for suction only. If your old hose has a switch or contacts, choose an electric hose, such as the Ghibli AS6 electric hose or the Oreck electric hose. Check the title for length, cuff style and colour, as with the Electrolux AP hoses in beige pinstripe or grey with blue pinstripe.
