Bidet seat guide: fit, controls and installation ▾
Round or elongated?
Measure from the centre of the two seat bolt holes to the front edge of the bowl. Round bowls are usually about 16.5", elongated bowls about 18.5". Order the RW (round) or EW (elongated) version to match.
Remote or side arm control?
Side arm models (T22, DR801, EM417) have the controls on a panel beside the seat. Remote models (Swash 1400, T44, DR802, EM617, DS725, RCT10) use a wireless remote, which keeps the seat profile clean and suits users who prefer not to reach to the side.
Installation
Electric bidet seats connect to the toilet's water supply and plug into a grounded outlet. If there is no suitable outlet near the toilet, have a licensed electrician install one, and follow Brondell's installation instructions.
