Round or elongated?
Measure from the centre of the two seat bolt holes to the front edge of the bowl. Round bowls measure about 16.5 inches and elongated bowls about 18.5 inches. In Brondell model numbers, RW means round and EW means elongated, for example T44-RW and T44-EW.
Remote or side arm control
Remote control models include the Swash 1400, Thinline T44, DR802, EM617, DS725 and RCT10. Side arm models, with controls on a panel beside the seat, include the Thinline T22, DR801 and EM417. Titles group the range into Luxury (1400, Thinline), Advanced (DR, EM and DS models) and Essential (RCT10).
Before you install
Bidet seats connect to the toilet's water supply line. Powered seats also need a grounded, GFCI-protected outlet within reach of the power cord; avoid extension cords, and have a licensed electrician add an outlet if there is none nearby. Follow Brondell's installation instructions for your model.
