How to match a part
Find the humidifier model on the cabinet label, then check the parts list in the manual, or read the number on the old part. Relays are voltage-specific: the GA50 is for 24v and the GA51 for 120v, so match the voltage of your system. The 1042-16 cabinet assembly is listed for 24v units.
Before you start
Shut off the water supply and the power to the humidifier and furnace. Mineral scale often builds up on troughs, nozzles and float valves, so replace them when cleaning no longer clears them. Use a licensed HVAC technician for wiring work.
