Find the right cartridge
Check the number on your current cartridge, the housing or the system manual. If you have the system maker's cartridge, search that number: Swift Green under sink filters are also listed under the system brand, for example Insinkerator F-1000 Compatible Under Sink Water Filter or GE FQSVF Compatible Under Sink Water Filter. Some SGF numbers contain the system's number, such as SGF-K201, SGF-GXRLQR, SGF-GXSTQR and SGF-FQSVF. Match the number in full: SGF-201R, SGF-501R, SGF-601R and SGF-701R are different cartridges.
When to replace
Cartridge life depends on its rated capacity, your water use and water quality. Follow the interval in the system instructions, and change it sooner if flow drops or taste and odour return. In a system with two or more cartridges, replace each with its own matching model.
