Match the part to your vacuum model
The model number is on a label on the vacuum body, usually underneath or on the back. Hoses are model specific: our titles list the models each one fits, such as Dyson DC07, DC14 or DC33, or Ghibli AS6. For Electrolux canisters, AP hoses are listed by colour and pinstripe, so match the colour of your current hose.
Check the connection size
Tools and wands must fit the end of your wand or hose handle. Some titles give the size, such as the 7' x 1 1/4" Ghibli AS5 electric hose. If you are unsure, measure the outside diameter of the end your tool slides onto.
Electric or non-electric
Vacuums with a powered brush need an electric hose or wand that carries power to the head, such as the Ghibli AS5 and AS6 electric hoses, the Oreck electric hose or the Kenmore / Oreck electric telescopic wand. A non-electric hose will not run a power head, so check which type your vacuum uses before ordering.
