Match the connection
A tool fits by the diameter of its neck, which slides onto your wand or hose. Titles give it where known: 35mm for tools listed for Miele, Samsung and Soniclean, 36mm and 38mm for Ghibli floor brushes and squeegees, 40mm for Ghibli floor and crevice tools, and 1 1/2 inches for the Carpet Pro backpack crevice tool. If your model is not listed, measure the end of your wand and compare.
Floor tools and power nozzles
Floor brushes and carpet tools run from 9 to 14 inches wide; a wider tool covers more floor per pass, a narrower one gets between furniture more easily. The 11 inch turbine powered nozzles listed for Miele vacuums are driven by the vacuum's airflow, so they need no power cord. Dyson power nozzle assemblies and the combination crevice and dusting tool are listed by model (V7, V8, V10, V11), and the Dyson floor tools for canister and upright vacuums, so check yours first.
